A Robust High-Performance RFID-Based Location System
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology recently emerged as a viable platform for locating objects in an environment, but unresolved key challenges precluded higher performance and wider applicability. Our proposed RFID-based object localization framework avoids the drawback of previous systems and uses signal strength -based algorithms and decay models to locate objects in realistic noisy environments. Our experiments indicate that this system is scalable, extensible, and offers high reliability and accuracy.
